Laurie Faith is a proud resident of Elgin, Illinois and works as an IT Project Manager, Web-Entrepreneur, Independent Theatre Producer and Community Organizer. She is newly married to Tony Aiello, a Director of IT Services, and is a proud mother to his two children, James (11) and Alexandria (9). She is also a weight loss model and spokesperson for overcoming morbid obesity, losing over 120 pounds 8-years ago.
Laurie Faith has worked with Congressman Bill Foster, local government and school districts on her platform. "Do this Generation Right" - fighting for the Physical, Emotional and Spiritual health for today's youth. From 2007 to current, Laurie Faith has assisted with lobbying Congress to pass a Health Care for Children bill, and continues her work with the FIT KIDS Bill - increasing awareness of ways to curb the childhood obesity epidemic.
Utilizing her Mrs. Illinois Platform in 2008 and 2009, she has engaged children with classroom education to equip them with lifelong nutritional and emotional tools ensuring a healthier generation.
